The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for our area until Wednesday, July 29, at 8:00 pm.
A slow-moving weather system will bring multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms to our area today through Wednesday. Average rainfall amounts are currently forecast to be 2.5 to 3.5 inches with higher amounts possible in certain areas.
Most of the rainfall is expected to fall throughout tonight, however flooding is still possible on Wednesday.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding is expected of Saddle Brook roadways.
Detours and closures will be in place.
Do not walk or drive through flooded areas.
