LOCATION: 18100 block of Pahute Avenue, Spring Valley Lake
SUSPECT: Kristopher Cox, 26-years-old, Resident of Spring Valley Lake
VICTIM: 2-year-old, Juvenile
SUMMARY: On Monday, July 27, 2026, at 3:10 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley station responded to the 18100 block of Pahute Avenue in Spring Valley Lake to investigate allegations of child abuse involving a two-year-old child.
During the investigation, it was found that the child had sustained significant bruising consistent with physical abuse. Based on the investigation, Kristopher Cox, a relative of the child, was identified as the suspect.
Kristopher Cox was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center where he was booked for child abuse.
