Search Warrant Following Burglary Investigation Leads to Two Arrests

H&S 11370.1(a) - Possession of a controlled substance while armed
LOCATION: 2200 Block of Tori Lane, Landers
SUSPECT(S): Johnnie Francis, 24-year-old male, Resident of Landers
Nichole Solet, 33-year-old female, Resident of Landers
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Saturday, July 25, 2026, at approximately 5:59 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station responded to a residential burglary in the 1700 block of Jemez Trail in Landers.
Deputies learned Johnnie Francis forcibly entered the victim's residence, damaged property, and stole miscellaneous items before fleeing the area. The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
During the investigation, deputies located Francis at a nearby residence in Landers. Evidence linking Francis to the burglary was recovered, along with property taken from the victim's residence. Deputy Morphew authored a search warrant for the residence and located suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and firearms inside the home, resulting in the arrest of a second individual, Nichole Solet.
Francis was arrested for PC 459 -Burglary and Solet was arrested for H&S 11370.1(a) -Possession of a controlled substance while armed. Both subjects were booked at the Morongo Basin Jail.
