Law Enforcement Training Exercise – Arcadia High School – August 1st and August 2nd
The Arcadia Police Department would like to inform the community that law enforcement training exercises will be conducted at Arcadia High School during the afternoon hours on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd.
The campus will be closed, and no students or faculty will be present during the training. Community members may notice an increased law enforcement presence, marked police vehicles, and loud noises, including simulated gunfire. These activities are part of realistic, scenario-based training involving law enforcement personnel.
This advisory is being shared to reassure the community that there is no active threat to the public. The training is an important part of our ongoing commitment to public safety by strengthening our response capabilities, readiness, and preparedness for critical incidents.
There are no anticipated street closures; however, community members are asked to avoid the school campus during the training. Signs will be posted at the location advising the public that law enforcement training is taking place.
