* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 701 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Burlington, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Burlington, Graham, and Mebane around 705 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Efland, Alamance, Sutphin, Haw River, and Cane Creek Reservoir. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 163 and 164. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 140 and 162, and between Mile Markers 259 and 270.
