1. Attempted Robbery (1123) 1700 Block of North Wilson Way, Civic District
The female victim, 27, reported that the suspect was following her and tried to steal her property. The suspect fled from officers and attempted to drive away. Officers used force to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Angelo Mendez, 25, attempted robbery and resisting arrest.
2. Weapon Arrest (1551) East MLK Boulevard and South El Dorado Street, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the area, and a search of the vehicle found a firearm. ARRESTED: Jorge Arredondo, 20, for weapons charges.
