1. Armed Robbery (1554) 1000 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The female victim, 49, was working at an area business when she saw the suspect shoplifting and followed him outside, where he brandished a firearm at her and then fled. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Weapon Arrest (0155) 6000 Block of North El Dorado Street, Lakeview District
Officers observed three males assaulting another male in the area. They attempted to detain the males, but all fled on foot. Officers detained one of the suspects after a short foot pursuit and found a firearm on his person. ARRESTED: Christian Ball, 18, for weapon charges and resisting arrest.
