* WHERE...Western Cook County in northeastern Illinois... DuPage County in northeastern Illinois... Northwestern Will County in northeastern Illinois...

* WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 452 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Rainfall amounts of up to 1 inch have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to to locally 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Elgin, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Bolingbrook, Palatine, Des Plaines, Mount Prospect, Wheaton, Hoffman Estates, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard, Buffalo Grove, Bartlett and Streamwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
