The male victim was sleeping when the known suspect hit him repeatedly with an object. The victim was able to pin the suspect to the ground until the responding officers took him into custody. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Willie Harris, 38, for attempted homicide.
2. Person Stabbed (1241) 3800 Alvarado Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 31, and the suspect were involved in a physical altercation when the suspect stabbed the victim. Responding officers located the suspect nearby and took him into custody. The victim was transported to an area hospital to treat his non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Moisses My, 31, for assault with a deadly weapon.
