* At 1036 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across portions the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the last 6 hours with an additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. Rainfall rates have been around 1-2 inches per hour of accumulation as the line of showers drifts slowly to the east. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 20. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 107 and 134.
