Flash Flood Warning until 2:45 p.m., Jersey Avenue at Huron Road is closed 
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the area until 2:45 p.m. Please be advised that Jersey Avenue at Huron Road is closed due to flooding.
Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the last 6 hours with an additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. Rainfall rates have been around 1-2 inches per hour of accumulation as the line of showers drifts slowly to the east.
Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
