Southeastern Somerset County in northern New Jersey... Northeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey... Northern Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Eastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* At 243 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring and road closures remain ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

Trenton, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Sandy Hook, Somerset, Edison, Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, South Brunswick and Sayreville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 55 and 76. New Jersey Turnpike between exits 7 and 13. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 11. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 20. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 106 and 134.
