1. Traffic Collision (1534) Harbor Street and S Los Angeles Avenue, Seaport District
Officers responded to the listed area in response to a report of a semi-truck vs. motorcycle. The motorcyclist, male, 62, was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Traffic investigators responded and assumed the investigation.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1924) 6200 Block of North Pershing Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 32, and the suspect got into a fight at the apartment complex. The suspect stabbed the victim and then fled the scene, but was later located and arrested by officers. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Jorge Ocampo, 28, for assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Attempted Homicide (0048) 2100 Block of Phelps Street, Park District
The female victim, 34, was outdoors when the known suspects approached and assaulted her. The suspects fled the area after the assault. SUSPECTS: Two Black Female Adults.
4. Traffic Collision (0448) 3300 Block of East Main St, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area in response to a report of a hit-and-run with injuries. On arrival, officers located the male victim, who later succumbed to his injuries. Traffic investigators responded and assumed the investigation.
