PC 30305(A)(1)- Prohibit own ammo
LOCATION: Foothill Blvd / Haven Ave, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Brian Carnell Spencer Haywood, 42-year-old male, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 2, 2026, at approximately 1:05 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station were actively patrolling in the area of Foothill Blvd and Haven Avenue when they conducted a proactive pedestrian check.
Deputies contacted a male, later identified as Brian Carnell Spencer Haywood. Through investigation, deputies learned Haywood is on active probation. During a search of his belongings, deputies located a loaded sawed-off shotgun and ammunition. Deputies learned Haywood was a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing a firearm and ammunition.
Haywood was later arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC29800(A)(1)-Felon in possession of a firearm, and PC30305(A)(1)- Prohibit to own ammo
