The male victim, 56, was in the area when the suspect attempted to snatch his necklace. The victim was able to take it back after a struggle with the suspect. Security at a nearby business chased the suspect and detained him until an officer arrived. ARRESTED: Dehjon Banks, 18, for robbery.
2. Person Stabbed (2220) 4300 Block of Continental Way, Lakeview District
The male victim, 36, was riding his scooter in the listed area when the suspect hit him with his vehicle and continued to drive. The victim followed the suspect and confronted him. During the confrontation, the suspect stabbed the victim, causing non-life-threatening injuries. Responding officers took the suspect into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Michael Espinoza, 29, for assault with a deadly weapon and hit-and-run.
