This year, the Cranford Police Department is joining our partners in the County of Union for "National Night Out for Everyone" which includes sensory-friendly activities for all attendees. Please note there is a location and time change, although NNO is always on the first Tuesday in August. This year's event is at Union College of Union County NJ (UCC), 1033 Springfield Avenue, Cranford from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM. This is also an amazing opportunity for residents to see the Cranford Fire Department's new Rescue 1 apparatus.
Each event that was offered in previous year's in Cranford's National Night Out will also be incorporated into this streamlined event - including local vendors, a static display of police and fire equipment, treats for kids, and our annual Project Home Dunk-A-Cop Fundraiser.
National Night Out is a nationwide campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This event with Cranford Police, Union County Police, Union County Sheriff's Office and the Union County Prosecutor's Office is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local law enforcement, learn about valuable resources, and celebrate our diverse community in an inclusive, accessible, and sensory-supportive environment
