Please be advised that the WB&A Trail will be temporarily closed at two locations—Race Track Road and Laurel-Bowie Road (MD 197)—from Monday, August 10, through Thursday, August 13, 2026, weather permitting, to complete critical bridge repairs.
During the project:
- Trail users will not be able to travel past Race Track Road in either direction.
- Trail users will not be able to travel past Laurel-Bowie Road (MD 197) in either direction.
- The remainder of the WB&A Trail will remain open and accessible.
- Access from Ridge Farm Court will remain open.
Please use caution, follow all posted signs and barricades, and plan ahead while this important safety work is completed.
