FAIRFIELD, Calif. — The Fairfield Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating 36-year-old Chantel Brooks, a resident of Fairfield, California.

Physical Description of Brooks:
Age: 36
Race/Gender: Black female
Height: 5'06"
Weight: 180 lbs
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown

On July 17, 2026, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Brooks was observed on surveillance camera leaving her place of employment in the 700 block of Eddy Street in San Francisco.

At that time, she was wearing:
Brown multi-colored brimmed hat
Red zip-up sweatshirt
Gray sweatpants
Brown furry boots

Later that same morning, at approximately 1:45 a.m., she was seen on camera wearing the same clothing while leaving a CVS store in the 300 block of East Travis Boulevard in Fairfield. Brooks was last seen on camera approaching her vehicle in the parking lot of the business.
Brooks' vehicle is a black 2021 Infiniti QX50 SUV, with California License Plate 9SBB134.

The Fairfield Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Chantel Brooks or her vehicle - or anyone who may have seen her, or her vehicle since the early morning hours of July 17 - to report this information immediately.
