On Saturday 8/8/26 from approximately 6:30am to 11:00am, Asbury Park will be hosting the Sheehan Classic 5k road race. The course starts in the area of 5th Avenue and Kingsley, heading west on 5th Avenue, South on Grand Avenue, East on Cookman Avenue, and North on Ocean Avenue. The course consists of two laps in the aformentioned areas before ending on the boardwalk. The area will be closed with barricades and police personnel, should you need access in or out of the area please plan accordingly.
