Emergency Utility Work – South Avenue Traffic Closure
Due to an emergency water main break, eastbound South Avenue is CLOSED between Lincoln Avenue and Washington Place while emergency repairs are underway.
Businesses and residents in the affected area may experience a temporary loss of water pressure during the repair process. Questions regarding water service should be directed to New Jersey American Water at 1-800-272-1325.
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use an alternate route whenever possible.
Businesses within the affected area remain accessible via South Union Avenue. Please use caution when traveling through the area and follow all posted traffic control devices and the directions of police officers.
