Laborer- Township of Byram, Sussex County- Department of Public Works- Is seeking a full-time laborer for the department of public works. Duties include but not limited to; maintenance, grass cutting, storm basin maintenance, road repair, snow removal.
Applicants should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand oral and written instruction. Some mandatory overtime will be required. CDL class B with air brake endorsement preferred. Preference will be given to Township residents.
The position is a non-competitive civil service position with a starting salary of $19.90 per hour. Hours of work 7am-3:30pm M-F. Byram Township reserves the right to hire before application closing period.
