Notice from Village of Shorewood Hills: Pool Building Closed 
August 7, 2026
This morning, the Village learned that an individual recently arrested on child pornography charges in Monona had been employed by the Village as a masters swim/dive coach, working with adult swimmers in the evenings. This individual did not coach any youth programs, and was not a coach for the Shorewood Hills swim/dive teams.
The Shorewood Hills Police Department contacted the Monona Police Department to determine whether any Village program falls within the scope of that investigation. To ensure the safety of our community, we have closed the pool building and are having the Shorewood Hills Police Department conduct a full search of the facility.
A Nixle alert has been issued informing the public that the pool building is closed until further notice.
