Special Weather Statement until 09:45PM

At 918 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 12 miles east of San Jon to 17 miles south of Tolar, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Portales, Fort Sumner, Quay, Texico, Melrose, San Jon, Grady and House. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 349 and 365. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 314 and 397.
