ONE INJURED IN PORTER TOWNSHIP CRASH
Sheriff Clint Roach advises that on 08/07/2026 at approximately 19:11 pm, his office responded to a motorcycle crash, personal injury accident. The accident occurred just South of the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Indiana Lake Dr, in Porter Township. The investigation shows that Kurt Bowman, a 74-year-old resident of Union, was Southbound on Sunset Blvd when his vehicle struck a Deer that had jumped in front of him while driving.
Baumann was transported to Elkhart General Hospital by SEPSA for treatment of his injuries.
