1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1508) 2400 Block of East Main Street, Park District
The male victim, 45, was in the listed area when the known suspect drove up and fired one gunshot into the air. The victim confronted the suspect, and the suspect shot at the victim but missed him. The suspect fled in his vehicle. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Resisting Arrest (1638) 700 Block of North Airport Way, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a disturbance involving an intoxicated subject. Officers located the suspect and detained him. The suspect fled from officers during his detention, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Eduardo Regeno-Hernandez, 20, for resisting arrest and public intoxication.
3. Animal Cruelty/ Resisting Arrest (1651) 800 Block of Dundee Way, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of animal cruelty. When officers attempted to detain the suspect, he fled on foot. Force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Haffet Solano, 18, for animal cruelty and resisting arrest.
4. Weapon Arrest (1927) Fresno Avenue and Washington Street, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. The driver was found to be in unlawful possession of a firearm and was arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Mario Serrano, 26, for
weapon violations.
5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (0200) Waterloo Road and Wilson Way, Park District
The female victim, 26, and the male victim, 24, were driving in the listed area when the known suspect began following them in his vehicle. The suspect repeatedly rammed the victims’ vehicle. The victims were able to flee after the suspect’s vehicle became disabled. The victims were uninjured. Officers located and arrested the suspect without incident. ARRESTED: Andres Mendoza, 34, for assault with a deadly weapon and traffic charges.
