* At 118 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour moving through the area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen so far west of Herscher. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor drainage areas.
