* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northern Wayne County in east central Indiana... Darke County in west central Ohio... Southwestern Mercer County in west central Ohio...

* Until 900 AM EDT.

* At 756 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Fort Recovery to 7 miles northwest of Muncie, moving south at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include... Richmond, Greenville, Centerville, Arcanum, Hagerstown, Union City, Fort Recovery, Ansonia, New Madison, Fountain City, Dublin, Franklin, Wayne Lakes, Gettysburg, Greens Fork, Pitsburg, Bethel, Hollansburg, Rossburg, and Palestine. This includes I-70 in Indiana between mile markers 134 and 148.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WAYNE, IN ... DARKE, OH ... MERCER, OH

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
