The DPW is aware of a main break in the area of Arthur between Huntington and Wildwood
Previously scheduled hydrant repairs on Littlestone / NewCastle will be addressed prior to the repairs on Arthur as we wait for utilities to be identified for safety
Nixle will be updated when new information is available
Water service may be interrupted for 3-5 hours in a multi-block area near the break-
Please do not wash clothes, shower/bathe, drink or use the water until repairs are complete.
Once water has been restored you will need to flush the pipes until the water runs clear. Please run the water for a few minutes in the laundry tub to do so.
Please stay clear of the work area if possible - if travel is unavoidable take caution when driving in the area-there will be barricades, crew members, support vehicles and water over the roadways.
Please store water for bathroom use
