| On 08/10/2026, at approximately 1935 hours, Camarillo patrol units responded to the area of Santa Rosa Road and Oak Canyon Road for the report of a motorcycle down in lanes. Upon arrival, deputies located a single male down in the center divider of Santa Rosa Road just east of Oak Canyon Road. The motorcycle involved was in the #1 west bound lane of Santa Rosa Road. Deputies immediately rendered aid to the motorcyclist and requested medical assistance. Paramedics and Firefighters arrived a short time later and performed life saving measures. The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries. The initial investigation indicates this was a single motorcycle crash with no other vehicles involved. Next of kin notification is pending by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.
