At 145 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Hwy S22 Between Borrego Springs And Imperial County Line, or 12 miles northeast of Borrego Springs. This storm was nearly stationary, but drifting slowly to the south and southeast. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Santa Rosa Mountain.
