INCIDENT: H&S 11378 - Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale
H&S 11379 - Transportation of a Controlled Substance
LOCATION: Coronado Street and Carty Way, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): John Teglovic, 35-years-old, Resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, August 7, 2026, at approximately 8:16 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department conducted a traffic enforcement stop near Coronado Street and Carty Way in the City of Needles.
During the investigation, deputies discovered the driver, identified as John Teglovic, was transporting narcotics and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine intended for sale.
Teglovic was subsequently arrested on the above-mentioned charges and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Teglovic remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $40,000.00, awaiting a court hearing. This investigation is on-going.
