Starting 8/12/2026 at 8:00AM, the Haines Borough will be entering a burn permit suspension. Any fires covered under a burn permit will not be permitted due to high fire danger and increasing throughout the week. Campfires in fire rings and BBQ grills are still permitted during a burn permit suspension.
