FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following
areas, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, Fulton IN, Grant,
Huntington, Jay, Marshall, Miami, Northern Kosciusko, Pulaski,
Southern Kosciusko, Southern La Porte, Starke, Wabash, Wells,
White and Whitley and northwest Ohio, including the following
areas, Allen OH and Van Wert.
* WHEN...Through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- 2 to 5 inches of rain fell across much of the area yesterday
with isolated pockets of over 6 inches. Additional heavy rain
is possible later this morning and again during the
afternoon. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are
possible in thunderstorms. This may lead to additional
flooding, especially in areas that received very heavy rain
yesterday.
Instructions:
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
