SLMPD Seeks Community's Help to Find Missing 2-year-old 
Just before 8 a.m., SLMPD District 3 officers responded to the 3800 block of Minnesota for a report of a missing child. The mother of 2-year-old Janylah Hughley reported that she awoke this morning to the front door open and Janylah missing from her house.
Janylah is a light-complexioned black female, last seen wearing a diaper, pink slippers, and with her hair in a ponytail.
The SLMPD immediately mobilized every available resource to search for Janylah. Officers and detectives have been on foot, in the helicopter, searching with canines, knocking on doors and speaking with neighbors. SLMPD believes someone knows where Janylah is.
SLMPD is asking for the community’s help in checking cameras between the hours of 1 a.m. and now. If anyone has footage of Janylah alone, or possibly with an adult, SLMPD would like to speak with you. You can call 911. Information and/or footage can also be sent to [email protected].
