* WHERE...Hocking River at Athens.
* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Low sections of Harmony Road begin to flood. In Nelsonville, the baseball fields along Watkins Street flood. At 20.0 feet, Low areas, campground, and private camps along the river between Athens and Coolville begin to flood. Much of the city of Athens is protected up to 26 feet by levees. In Nelsonville, the baseball field adjacent to Lake Hope Drive floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 18.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.1 feet on 02/19/2022. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
