* At 310 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in Numerous flooded roads across the warned area, with up to 5 feet of water in Cambridge City. Between 3.5 and 6.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are possible. FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Brownsville and surrounding areas. . This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
