1. Robbery (1749) 400 Block of West Worth Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 50, was in the listed area when he got into an argument with the known suspect. The suspect assaulted the victim, took his property, and fled on foot. The victim declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Robbery Arrest (1913) 600 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 26, was working at an area business when he confronted the suspect for shoplifting. The suspect threatened to kill the victim. The victim was able to detain the suspect until officers arrived and took the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Mark Lopez, 30, for robbery.
3. Arson Arrest (2323) 900 Block of North Sutter Street, Civic District
The female victims, 36, 13, and 10, and the male victim, 14, were inside a residence when the suspect battered the adult victim and set fire to the residence. All victims escaped and were uninjured. Officers responded and arrested the suspect. While in custody, the suspect spat on one of the officers. ARRESTED: Hope Newcomb, 28, for arson, child abuse, battery, and battery on an officer.
4. Robbery (0312) 3200 Block of West Lane, Civic District
The male victims, 31 and 27, were working at an area business when the suspects entered. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded property. The victims refused, and the suspects took merchandise before fleeing on foot. SUSPECTS: five unknown race male adults.
5. Person Shot (0543) Navy Drive and Argonaut Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 30, was in the listed area when he was shot by the suspect. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
