Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that the following streets will be closed during the hours below due to the Annual Latin Festival:
Beginning at 12 a.m. Sunday, August 16th to 12 a.m. – Monday, August 17, 2026
• Bloomfield Ave. between Clifton Ave. and Lake St.
• Ridge St. between Park Ave. and 2nd Ave.
• Parker St. between Park Ave. and 2nd Ave.
• Highland Ave. between Park Ave. and 2nd Ave.
The festival will be held from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Bloomfield Ave. between Clifton Ave. and Lake St.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
Director Miranda thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event.
