The 7th Annual March to Yorktown Day will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Events begin with the opening ceremony on the front lawn of the Westfield Municipal Building, followed by a brief parade on East Broad Street and Mountain Avenue to Mindowaskin Park for the encampment and festival.
Portions of East Broad Street and Mountain Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. for the parade. Please plan accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE: This event will include sever SIMULATED cannon and musket firings (approximately 12:30 p.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.).
Westfield Police Department personnel will be in attendance throughout this event.
