The Borough of Helmetta would like to advise residents that the Middlesex County Division of Highways will be conducting milling and resurfacing work on Main Street, subject to the availability of equipment and weather permitting.
Work is anticipated to take place on the following dates, from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from 62 Main Street (Brookside Place) to Maple Street:
Monday, August 17, 2026: Milling
Tuesday, August 18, 2026: Paving
Wednesday, August 19, 2026: Striping
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the work area and to expect possible delays. Please follow all posted signs and directions from work crews.
