Fall Creek near Fortville. .Copious rainfall over the past two days along with yet another round of storms coming today is bringing significant flooding to central Indiana. This includes rapidly rising water on Fall Creek at Fortville where the creek should crest this afternoon or possible tonight, depending on the path of incoming storms.

* WHERE...Fall Creek near Fortville.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Water on SR 238 at gaging site near Fortville. Flooding possible in low areas of Luxhaven.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:45 PM EDT Thursday was 8.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.4 feet late this afternoon.
