I LOVE MY CITY DUMPSTERS ARE OUT!

East Chicago!! We hope everyone is hanging in there as we continue cleaning up after the recent weather. Mayor Anthony Copeland and our Public Works team are working hard to get EC cleaned up and back to normal ASAP! In addition to our crews being out across the city picking up debris, we’re giving residents another way to help with the cleanup.

SEE A RED “I LOVE MY CITY” DUMPSTER? USE IT!
These dumpsters are for TREE DEBRIS ONLY:
Branches & limbs
Small stumps
Smaller tree debris
NO whole trees, household garbage, furniture, or construction debris.

HEADS UP: The dumpsters will move throughout the city based on where our cleanup crews are working. So you may see one in your neighborhood today and another area tomorrow.
East Chicago, we’re on it! Our crews are working hard to get our city back looking like EC again. We just ask for a little patience while we get it done.
