The Township is advising residents and the community that Hawkin Road is scheduled to be closed beginning Wednesday, August 12, 2026, for approximately 7–10 days, weather permitting.
 
Please Plan Ahead

• Hawkin Road will be closed to traffic during the construction/road work.
• Please use an alternate route and allow additional travel time.
• Do not enter or drive around barricades or road-closure signs. This is for the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and workers.
• Residents who live within the affected area should follow any instructions provided by Township officials and/or road crews.
• The closure may be extended if weather or unforeseen conditions delay the work.
• The Township will provide updates regarding the progress of the work and will notify the community when the road is reopened.
