| During the morning hours of August 12, 2026, patrol deputies from the Camarillo Police Station responded to the 5000 block of Verdugo Way in Camarillo regarding multiple vehicles that had their tires slashed. Deputies identified several victims whose vehicles sustained damages totaling several thousand dollars. The victims were randomly selected and had no connection to either the suspect or each other. Detectives from the Camarillo Investigations Bureau assumed the investigation and identified the suspect as (S) Viviana Rocha. In July 2026, Rocha had been arrested for similar crimes at a Camarillo shopping center but was later released after posting bond. Detectives entered Rocha's vehicle license plate into the Sheriff's Office Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) system, which would generate an alert if the vehicle was detected. Within a matter of hours, deputies received ALPR notifications indicating the vehicle was traveling from the Moorpark area into Camarillo. Patrol deputies responded to the area and located Rocha and her vehicle near the intersection of Santa Rosa Road and Adolfo Road. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and took Rocha into custody without incident. Rocha was arrested for 594 PC – Felony Vandalism and booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility on $50,000 bail.
