FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following
areas, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, Fulton IN, Grant,
Huntington, Jay, Marshall, Miami, Northern Kosciusko, Pulaski,
Southern Kosciusko, Southern La Porte, Starke, Wabash, Wells and
Whitley and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, Allen
OH and Van Wert.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional heavy rain is possible tonight. Rainfall rates of
1 to 2 inches per hour are possible in thunderstorms. This
may lead to additional flooding, especially in areas that
received very heavy rain over the past two days.
