ALASKA MARINE HIGHWAY FERRY DOCK

KING COVE, ALASKA

When the Alaska Marine Highway ferry is docked in King Cove, we ask everyone to help keep the ferry dock and access road clear, safe, and accessible.

VEHICLES ON THE FERRY DOCK

Please limit vehicles on the ferry dock to those that are:

• Dropping off ferry passengers
• Picking up ferry passengers
• Scheduled to board the ferry

All other vehicles should remain off the ferry dock during ferry operations.

PLEASE KEEP THE ACCESS ROAD CLEAR

Do not park along the sides of the road leading to the ferry dock unless your vehicle is scheduled to board the ferry.

Keeping the roadway and dock area clear will:

• Improve safety for passengers, pedestrians, vehicles, and ferry personnel.
• Allow vehicles to safely enter and exit the ferry.
• Give ferry personnel adequate room to conduct loading and unloading operations.
• Help the Alaska Marine Highway System offload and reload the ferry safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clear access for emergency vehicles if needed.
