Suspects:
Two unknown black males, possibly in their 20s. One suspect was described as thin, approximately 5'9", with a partial goatee, wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, sneakers, and a black Nike beanie. The second suspect was described as medium build, approximately 6'0", with a goatee, wearing a white t-shirt, light blue jean shorts, high white socks, a white and red cap, tan and red sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.
Details:
Ptl. Cassar responded to Sunglass Hut for the report of a past-tense shoplifting. Through investigative means, it was determined that two unknown males entered the store and selected approximately eleven pairs of sunglasses before concealing the merchandise in a backpack and their pockets. Both suspects then exited the store without rendering payment. The stolen merchandise consisted of nine pairs of Miu Miu sunglasses, one pair of Gucci sunglasses, and one pair of Versace sunglasses, with a total value of approximately $5,000.
2026-16202 – Property Damage - Fire

Details:
Ptl. A. Dogostiano responded to Murano Drive at The Elements for a report of smoke in the area. Upon arrival, he located a dock near the pond that was damaged by fire. The aluminum ramp leading to the dock was warped and appeared structurally unstable due to heat damage. Members of Station 45 responded and assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
2026-16227 – Shoplifting

Unknown black male with a gray and black beard, wearing a black shirt, dark hat, and jean shorts. Unknown black female with long hair and highlights, wearing a Yankees hat, white shirt, shorts, and carrying a purse.
Details:
Ptl. C. Connell responded to Ulta Beauty for the report of a past-tense shoplifting. Through investigative means, it was determined that two unknown individuals entered the store and concealed eleven bottles of tester perfume before exiting the store without rendering payment. The stolen merchandise consisted of tester perfumes with a total value of $1,868.00.

Details:
Ptl. C. Moody responded to Howard Drive for the report of a past-tense theft of a soccer net. Through investigative means, it was determined that two unknown individuals were in the area of the residence during the overnight hours and the soccer net was subsequently removed from the property. The stolen item was described as a full-size 12-foot soccer net with a white frame, valued at $61.99.

Details:
Ptl. T. Hoffman responded to police headquarters for the report of a past-tense theft. The victim reported that between approximately 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM on July 4, 2026, an unknown person removed his black Jasion EB5 electric bicycle from his first-floor balcony.
2026-16659 – Electrical Fire

Location: MarketFair Shopping Plaza - 3535 U.S. Route 1

Details:
Ptl. C. Moody responded to MarketFair Shopping Plaza for the report of an electrical fire. Upon arrival, members of West Windsor Fire Company Station 44 and Princeton Fire Company Station 60 had extinguished the fire, which occurred inside an electrical utility room attached to the plaza. The employee working on the electrical panel at the time of the incident reported that the panel arced and exploded, causing sparks and flames as he exited the area. The electrical panel sustained significant damage, including a melted and burned door. The internal fuses were also damaged.

Shawn Pringle – 34yo male out of Hamilton, NJ
Cori Solarski, - 39yo female out of Hamilton, NJ
Details:
Sgt. Brodowski, Ptl. A. Pollini and Ptl. Rankin responded to Lowe’s for a report of two individuals involved in a shoplifting incident. Ptl. Rankin located Shawn Pringle and Cori Solarski as they were exiting the store and took them into custody. Through investigative means, it was determined that Pringle and Solarski entered Lowe’s and selected three copper pipes before bringing the items to customer service in an attempt to return them. After the return was denied, both individuals passed all points of sale without rendering payment and exited the store. Pringle and Solarski were charged with Shoplifting. Pringle was additionally processed for numerous previous shoplifting complaints. Both individuals were trespassed from all Lowe’s locations indefinitely.

Details:
Ptl. A. Pollini responded to Ulta Beauty for the report of a shoplifting that had occurred moments earlier. Through investigative means, it was determined that an unknown male entered the store, selected several items from two different shelves, concealed the merchandise in a shopping bag, and exited the store without rendering payment.
The suspect was last seen walking in the direction of Wegmans and was believed to have entered a black Acura with a temporary registration. The stolen merchandise consisted of ten assorted fragrances with a total value of $1,551.00.

Details:
On July 9, 2026 at approximately 9:54 AM, Sgt. L. Brodowski #79 and Ptl. Moody responded to Home Goods, located at 201 Nassau Park Boulevard, for a reported shoplifting incident that occurred on July 8, 2026. Through investigative means, it was determined that the unknown male listed above was identified as the suspect. The suspect entered the store, selected four king-size sheet sets and one Breville espresso machine, and exited the store without rendering payment for the merchandise. The total value of the stolen merchandise was $1,199.95.

Arrested: Lynette Smith – 59yo female out of Perrineville, NJ
Details:
On the above date and time, officers responded to Wegmans for a report of a suspicious person potentially shoplifting. Through investigative means, it was determined that Lynette Smith selected various alcohol and health and beauty items, exited the store without rendering payment, and was stopped by Wegmans Loss Prevention in the parking lot. The stolen merchandise totaled $1,536.46 and was recovered on scene before being returned to Wegmans. Smith was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where she was processed without incident. Smith was charged with Shoplifting and released with a summons and pending court date. Smith was also trespassed from all Wegmans locations for two years.

Arrested: Douglas W. Breen – 66yo male out of West Windsor, NJ
Details:
Officers responded to police headquarters to investigate a reported road rage incident that had occurred earlier that afternoon on Princeton-Hightstown Road. The victim reported that during the incident, the driver of another vehicle allegedly brandished a large fixed-blade knife, threatened to kill him, and later displayed what appeared to be a handgun while making additional threats. Through investigative means, officers identified Douglas W. Breen as the alleged driver. Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation, during which Breen admitted to being involved in the incident and surrendered a fixed-blade knife. He was subsequently placed under arrest. Breen was charged with Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. He was processed at police headquarters and transported to the Mercer County Correction Center pending a court appearance.
Incident #: 2026-17386 – Defiant Trespassing / Resisting Arrest

Arrested: Glen Stubbs – 58yo male out of Trenton, NJ.
Details:
Sgt. Brodowski observed Glen Stubbs panhandling from the median on Nassau Park Boulevard. Through investigative means, it was determined that Stubbs had multiple outstanding warrants from West Windsor Township and Lawrence Township. Stubbs had previously been trespassed from the privately owned property and was prohibited from returning to panhandle. When Sgt. Brodowski attempted to place Stubbs under arrest, he fled into the roadway before being taken into custody after a brief struggle. During the arrest, Stubbs resisted Sgt. Brodowski and attempted to discard his belongings into traffic. A subsequent search of his property and person resulted in the recovery of CDS paraphernalia, which was seized as evidence. While being processed at police headquarters, Stubbs also attempted to destroy a glass pipe that recovered from his person. Stubbs was charged with Defiant Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Obstruction. He was lodged at the Mercer County Correction Center pending a court appearance.
Incident #: 2026-17547 – Motor Vehicle Burglary

Details:
Officers responded to the Lofts at Princeton for the report of multiple motor vehicle burglaries. A resident discovered her vehicle had been entered overnight and her wallet containing credit cards had been stolen. Shortly after discovering the theft, the victim was notified that her credit cards had been fraudulently used at businesses in Hamilton and Trenton. Officers located six additional vehicles within the development that appeared to have been burglarized. The investigation is ongoing.

Suspect: Unknown white older-model pickup truck towing a trailer.
Details:
A resident reported that a Craftsman riding lawn mower had been stolen from the end of his driveway. Home security footage captured an older-model white pickup truck towing a trailer pulling into the driveway, loading the lawn mower, and leaving the area. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: India M. Braxton – 24yo female out of Lawrence, NJ
Details:
Patrol responded to Target for the report of multiple individuals concealing merchandise. One suspect, India M. Braxton, was detained by store security while the remaining suspects fled the area in a vehicle. Braxton was found to have concealed merchandise valued at $124.83, while additional merchandise concealed by the group brought the total value to $790.21. All merchandise was recovered. During the investigation, Braxton initially provided false identifying information before ultimately identifying herself correctly. She was charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension and was released with a summons and pending court date.

Arrested: Giselle Scott - 32yo female out of Hamilton, NJ
Details:
Patrol responded to Wegmans after store security detained Giselle Scott for shoplifting. Scott failed to pay for four items totaling $59.56 before exiting the store. When confronted by loss prevention personnel and a Mercer County Sheriff's Officer, Scott fled on foot before being apprehended a short distance away. She was charged with shoplifting and released with a summons and pending court date.

Arrested: Arnold L. Thomas Jr – 53yo male out of Trenton, NJ
Details:
Patrol responded to Wegmans after store security detained Arnold L. Thomas Jr. for shoplifting merchandise valued at $260.33. During the investigation, Thomas initially provided false identifying information. Through investigative means, officers confirmed his identity and discovered multiple outstanding warrants from surrounding jurisdictions. Thomas was charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension. He was released on the West Windsor charges and remanded to the custody of the Ewing Police Department on the outstanding warrants.
