During the early morning hours of August 13, 2026, a sheriff's dispatcher assigned to the Advanced Real Time Information Center (ARTIC) received a notification from the Sheriff's Office Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) system regarding a stolen vehicle traveling in the area of Las Posas Road and Ponderosa Drive.
The ARTIC dispatcher confirmed the vehicle was stolen and quickly relayed the information to patrol deputies in the area. Within one minute of the initial notification, patrol deputies located the stolen vehicle, driven by (S) Anallely Vega, and took her into custody.
Vega was arrested for violating 10855 VC - Stolen Vehicle and 496(d) PC- Receiving Stolen Property and was booked into the Pre-Trial Detention Facility on $20,000 bail.
