* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and east central Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois, De Witt and Piatt. In east central Illinois, Champaign, Douglas, Edgar and Vermilion.
* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A large area of 3 to 5 inches of rain has fallen since Thursday morning. Thunderstorms are expected to move in again late this evening, becoming widespread after midnight. An additional 1 to 3 inches is likely to fall overnight and Saturday morning. With the ground already saturated, it will not take much additional rain to cause renewed flooding.
