On August 15, 2026, at approximately 8:06 p.m., Gang Suppression Team officers conducted a traffic stop near Western Avenue and Rancho Verde. During the investigation, officers located a loaded concealed firearm on the driver.
The driver was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm and booked into county jail.
SMPD remains committed to keeping our community safe by removing illegally possessed firearms from our streets.
